Toshiyuki Sueyoshi, Professor of New Mexico Institute of Mining Technology, made a series of lectures entitled "DEA (Non-Radial) approach for Unified Efficiency Measures", "Concepts on DEA Environmental Assessment" and "R&D Strategy and Bankruptcy Assessment" in CER on Mar. 13, 15 and 16, respectively.
Professor Toshiyuki Sueyoshi explained DEA modeling to students in these lectures. He illustrated DEA modeling and solving process by an example of measuring the efficiency of senior middle schools. Then he explained how to incorporate the environmental issues into DEA model, and then made performance evaluation. Finally, he explained the application of DEA-DA method in the evaluation of enterprise bankruptcy, and made a comparative analysis on DEA and DEA-DA method in bankruptcy assess performance.
