Overseas student Azka Amin of CER made a presentation titled of Interest Free Banking and Finance in Pakistan on September 29, 2016. Dean Shaoan Huang presided the lecture and made a brief speech, some teachers and doctoral students from CER attended the lecture.
Around the topic of Islamic banking and finance, Amin introduced and described five aspects in detail which are listed abroad, the history and development of Islamic banking in Pakistan, market share of Islamic banks in various countries, Islamic finance trends in European countries, Islamic modes of financing, and the benefit of interest-free banking. Finally, she made conclusions about Pakistan’s Islamic bank and interest-free banking.
