Macroeconomic theory and China's macroeconomic analysis meeting was held in Shandong University on December 18, 2016. Nearly 20 young scholars and some graduate students of the CER, as well as some students from other colleges and universities attended this meeting. Invited scholars and some Ph.D. students reported their papers respectively during the meeting. Jinhui Bai, associate professor from Washington State University reported his paper titled “Microeconomic Foundations of Capacity Utilization in Macroeconomics: an Analytical Review”, Binkai Chen, professor of Central University of Finance and Economics made a report of “supply side structural reforms and dissolve excess capacity”, which combined supply side reform try to analysis the excess capacity; Dr Naijing Huang of Central University of Finance and Economics reported her cooperation paper titled “Financial contagion inspection and market risk prevention among China's stock market industry”, which empirically examined the financial contagion and market risks of China's stock market among different industry sectors. There are also other scholars made excellent speeches. This meeting finished at 17:30 PM, it promoted the academic exchange among researchers in macroeconomics and provided a great platform for students to learn it.
